Trevcon has a major role to play in building the largest wind turbine installation in United States waters to date, the Sunrise Wind Offshore Wind Turbine Array. Trevcon’s scope is to receive the cables from the cable lay vessel and pull them safely to shore through conduits buried under the ocean floor.

Offshore work in the winter. in the North Atlantic, close the surf zone poses unique challenges. Through careful planning and engineering Trevcon devised unique solutions for the safe installation of the cables.

Trevcon’s offshore engineering and operations are performed to IMCA (International Marine Contractors Association) standards.
