SIMS metal management loads and unloads scrap metal from its bulkhead in Jersey. The bulkhead suddenly collapsed. Trevcon was called in to remove the existing bulkhead and augment the existing ‘deadman’ anchorage system, which consisted of upsizing the tie-rods and revising the connection design to the bulkhead.
