Ramapo Lake Bridge Repair

Looking like something out of Arthurian Legend, a small stone bridge spans over the entrance to a quiet cove in Ramapo Lake. Access to the bridge is along a 1.5-mile winding dirt road off Skyline Drive.

Trevcon executed emergency underwater repairs to bridge foundation at the request of Joseph M. Sanzari Inc. under their maintenance contract with NJ DOT. Instead of the designed piece-meal repairs, Trevcon opted to redesign the repairs to capture the entire underwater substructure and freeze-thaw zone. Mike Hargrave and Mike Long and their crew worked together to complete the high-quality repairs just before the lake froze over.
