Fordham Boat House Pier

After a 27-year hiatus, Fordham sailing was resurrected in 2000 by a group of seven undergraduate students. Since then, the program has grown vastly in size, scope and operations.

The new pier will allow Fordham to compete against both club and varsity sailing programs from around the country.

Trevcon’s scope includes a new steel frame pier structure supported on steel piles with composite decking and a cable rail handrail system. A floating dock system by Meeco-Sullivan will provide access for the sailing crews. Trevcon’s VE design solution met the owner’s budget and made the project possible.
