Offshore Services

As an IMCA (International Marine Contractors Association) member, Trevcon has extensive experience in the marine support for offshore cable landfall. This includes the marine support for the horizontal directional drilling (HDD) installation of the offshore conduits, and the marine support for the power cable pull through. Due to environmental permits, this work takes place in the winter in the North Atlantic. The exposed conditions, the proximity to the surf zone, and the winter conditions, dictate intense preparation and ‘out of the box’ engineering solutions to minimize the time and cost.

T-Port

T-Port is a six-acre heavy marine construction and services support facility located on the Arthur Kill in Elizabeth, NJ, directly adjacent to the newly dredged, 50-foot-deep federal navigation channel. Developed by Trevcon, the facility is designed for transloading, mobilization, and material handling services to support marine activities in the region.

Wharfage:
- 420 LF high-load-capacity wharf (south end)
- 200 LF high-load-capacity wharf (north end)
- 1,800 LF of total deep-water wharfage and shoreline suitable for fleeting vessels and barges up to 120 ft in width
Recycling Operations:
NJDEP-licensed Class B recycling facility for concrete recycling, asphalt, soil, and timber material transfers.
Shop Facilities:
Fully enclosed, full-service repair shop capable of servicing a broad range of heavy construction equipment.
Yard Space:
Ample on-site capacity for equipment and material storage, as well as prefabrication activities.

Trevcon Veyor

Pioneering a superior and unique underwater restoration system

The patented TREVCON-VEYOR offers you the most progressive and effective restoration system for stabilizing pilings and bulkhead weakened by erosion, sheet-pile deterioration, or dredging. The flexible barge unit uses a partially submerged conveyor system to place reinforcement stone directly at previously unreachable pile and bulkhead bases. Easily transportable via water or land, this extraordinary apparatus allows us to work without using dock space or interrupting ongoing dock operations.

The TREVCON-VEYOR offers the following unique capabilities:

Aggregate capacity from sand to 12-inch stone.
Access between piles as narrow as 12 inches.
Neutrally buoyant system can extend under a pier over 100 ft.
Highly suitable for low headroom situations, bridge piers, and wharves.
Precision capabilities for cost efficiency.
Operates from water without using dock space.

Examples of successful applications included the bulkhead stabilizations for Port Newark and Port Elizabeth.
