Trevcon Construction was contracted by Global Container Terminals in Bayonne, NJ to construct the new 1,335-foot-long Berth 3. The terminal is one of the most advanced shipping container terminals on the East Coast. Berth 3 will receive four new shipping container cranes capable of unloading the largest shipping vessels in the world.
Design-build project to install new fender systems, paint the towers and maintain the bridge cables.
Remove existing relieving platform and install new marginal wharf with landscaped upland terrace structure.
Load test bridge foundation piles to 3,200 Tons.
Replace existing anchored sheet pile bulkhead.
Build new South yard wharf for ballistic missile submarine.
Build two new marine railway bridges for the last remaining cross-harbor rail traffic by barge.
Construction of a new pedestrian esplanade on the East River.
Underwater emergency stabilization of the east abutment bridge foundation.
Trevcon rebuilt the substructure for both Pier 17 and the Tin building with innovative construction techniques that included accessing the Tin building platform from a crane trestle extending in from the East River.
Trevcon was contracted by Hunter Roberts Construction Group to install two precast pile supported travel lift piers, and monopiles for the berthing slips and maintenance slips for the ferries. This facility will provide a base for the Citywide Ferries, as well as serve as a maintenance facility for the vessels.
Construct a new 985 foot long pier to be used for recreational purposes.
Build new marine transfer station in the East River for solid waste transfer by water.
Build a new Bridge Foundation for the new Paerdegat Basin Bridge.
Construct new pier to support a large gantry crane for services the historic graving dock adjacent to the pier.
New pier and marina for the Fordham University Sailing Club.
